We really enjoyed it. That pizzeria is a must visit for those who likes to try something different in concept of good old pizza. The meat menu was also worth to notice. Multilingual and very professional service, great interior.
I am a big fan of pizza Napoletana.
I have tried many with the Vera pizza sign.
I have traveled to Napoli just to eat pizza.
This is one of the best I have tried.
Don't expect English speaking personnel, just google translate your way out of the Italian menu and you will be fine!
Amazing pizza, the best in the catania region and a beautiful building
Very good Napolitano pizza! I tried the pizza Norma. We called beforehand to ask for the opening times but they hung up on us when she heard English. It's also a shame they charged us 6 Euro for a big bottle water while the menu says 2 euro. Worth a visit but check what you're charged with!
Some problems with getting the order straight as we did not speak Italian and tried to use English. Pizzas arrived over time. Nice place though with a view of Etna and the sea from the terrace.
We visited Antica Pizzeria Napoletana with our two young children (5 and 7) during a recent trip to Sicily. During the time we were in Sicily, we ate at restaurants once or twice each day and this was by far the best dining experience of the trip. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. All the food we ordered was of exceptional quality, but the pizza dough was phenomenal. It was light and fluffy on the interior and beautifully crisp on the outside. The desserts and local wine were also excellent and all for a reasonable price. Overall, Antica Pizzeria Napoletana is an excellent restaurant that I would highly recommend.
30 years of eating pizza, and easily one of the very best! Fried calzone was something else!!!
A large group of us got takeaway from here on the first night that we were staying in Sicily and it was amazing. The ingredients were all very fresh, and all the pizzas we tried were delicious. Highly recommend. The crust is a little thicker than what we might be used to in the US, but that is not a bad thing - it was all great. The staff were also very helpful and patient with ordering without speaking a lot of Italian.
